I'm Riding For
Jack Muir
My Story
This August, I'm taking part in the Great Canadian Cycle Challenge and committing to ride 400 kilometres to help fight childhood cancer.
Cancer has touched my life in many ways. I lost my father to cancer, and I also lost my sister-in-law to this devastating disease. Those experiences have shown me the heartbreak that cancer can bring to families.
Over the past year, I've also watched a friend's daughter fight a horrific battle with cancer. Through every challenge, she has faced it with remarkable courage and a smile that inspires everyone around her. Seeing her strength has reminded me that some of the bravest warriors come in the smallest packages.
So, I've decided to break out my riding legs and take on 400 kilometres this August to help raise money for this important cause. I'm riding in memory of those we've lost, in honour of those still fighting, and in support of the children and families facing battles no one should have to endure.
My hope is that the funds raised will help support research, treatments, and care that can create more miracle stories for these brave warriors and their families.
Thank you for supporting my challenge. Every donation, every share, and every word of encouragement helps move us closer to a future where more children can win their fight against cancer.

Another great day for a ride
19 Aug 2026Enjoying the smoother ride, my bike came with gravel lite tires, I’m riding about 90% paved paths or road so some road tires makes more sense.
