9-year-old Mikayla made this '$6,000,000' sign to mark this AMAZING milestone with you and the GCC community across Canada.

She definitely knows a thing or two about KICKING CANCER’S BUTT herself… she’s been doing it for almost 2 years. 💪

Mikayla was diagnosed with mixed phenotype acute leukemia in December 2024, and has endured intensive treatment to help her beat the disease.

While her treatment journey is not yet over, she’s currently in the maintenance phase and able to just be a kid again. 🧡

Your fundraising efforts are funding vital research into treatments and cures for childhood cancers, to give kids like Mikayla the brighter futures they deserve.

11-year-old Dominique made this beautiful sign to say a big “THANK YOU!” to all our riders across the country for hitting this massive milestone. 🧡

Dominique fought so hard throughout her frontline treatment for leukemia, and she’s now in maintenance and able to be a kid again – returning to school and enjoying her favourite activities once more.

She’s an amazing, intelligent, creative, resilient young woman, and she continues to share her many talents with the world. 🌟

Thank you for riding and raising for kids like Dominique… because they should be LIVING life, NOT fighting for it.

Amazing Kick Cancers Butt Day

Hi Don, I have some exciting news...

Kick Cancer's Butt Day raised $1,934,978 to fight kids' cancer... INCREDIBLE!

It's amazing. THANK YOU so much for your butt-kicking efforts to give kids like Chloe, Lawson, Kursten, Liam, Dominique, and Mikayla and the brighter futures they deserve.

It was a MASSIVE day. We asked YOU to take action, and you KICKED CANCER'S BUTT! 💪

You've given these families a reason to smile, and more importantly, you've given them hope for a cancer-free future and the support they need to continue their fight to beat this awful disease.

For that Don, I cannot thank you enough.

As you know, our wonderful supporters, the Garron Family were personally matching donations up to $1,300,000...

And as outlined when we announced this amazing pledge, if we were to reach the $1,300,000 limit we'd distribute the matched donations across all your pages, based on a percentage of what you raised over the one day of Kick Cancer's Butt Day. This is the fairest way to ensure that everyone who made the effort, gets the reward. 😊

But unfortunately, this does mean that we can't match all donations completely, so you'll receive a portion of the $1,300,000 based on the total you raised. I'll explain the calculation...

$1,300,000 / $1,934,978 = 67.18% - so we've matched 67.18% of the total you raised on Kick Cancer's Butt Day and added this to your fundraising page.

This is the fairest way to ensure EVERYONE is rewarded for their efforts to kick cancer's butt. I wish we could match every single donation but the response was just so incredible.

I've also been getting some questions in the past 24 hours, so just some key things to note:

Meet Kursten

9-year-old Kursten is our official GUARDIAN level ambassador. 🧡

She is courageously fighting a rare and aggressive form of cancer known as Ewing Sarcoma.

A sudden sharp pain on her right side during a family dinner was the first sign that something was wrong.

In what felt like the blink of an eye, her symptoms progressed into severe hip pain that made walking almost impossible.

After multiple ER visits and extensive testing, Kursten was diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma on December 9, 2025.

This brave girl has endured a central port placement, a platelet transfusion, 3x blood transfusions, 5x cycles of chemotherapy and long hospital admissions for pain, fever, and gastrointestinal issues.

Despite everything she's been through, Kursten remains the brightest star with a joyful spirit and smile that light up a room.

This is one incredible girl. 🌟

Today, Kursten has a message for you:

Lawson has some amazing news…

5-year-old Lawson is battling rhabdomyosarcoma like an absolute superhero.

Lawson endured 4 x rounds of aggressive relapse chemo in the last 4 months, and underwent surgery on his tumour last week.

He will NEVER stop fighting and NEVER give up - go Lawson!

This kid is showing us exactly how to KICK CANCER’S BUTT. 💪

We’re going to keep this going, and take action for him on Wednesday when all online donations will be matched up to $1,300,000!
