13th Day of peddle cycling

Sunny evening ride with a little smoke in the air

It was a great evening it got dark real fast after 8pm.

Even though I am done with the personal challenge of 500 KM and $500+

I would keep going until the end of the month.

I am greatful for all those have sponsoring me you have helped out the childern who are sick with cancer and helping the Doctors with there better there technology and helping the families with kids that have Cancer, they will be more comfortable to get better fast and continue to be childern again...

I hope that we will do this again next year.

Same month.

This time I will be a couple of months advanced so everyone will be prepared....

Day 12 of cycling (August 19, 2026)

Was a nice evening stroll.

Very short.

I am almost done with my 500 KM, which we have achieved the goal of $500+ donation. Thank you, those who sponsored me as you helped out the children with cancer (sickkids foundations).

Can't wait to do this for next year for my 2nd year of helping the doctors that has the technology to have better and updated, also for the family that have children with cancer to be much smoother less stress and to have them be more comfortable in the process..

😁 This was exciting, and I was very pumpe even when I received the jersey and achieved my goal, I couldn't do it without those who have sponsored and donated towards the sick children that have Cancer and to defeat it.

Let's do this again next year to kick cancer out of the childern life, so they can be kids again... 😀

DAY 11 OF CYCLING (AUG 18, 2026)

A great warm evening ride .

Well I was riding back I have noticed a dear just coming out of a bushes luckily I did see the deer and lucky there wasn't any vehicle coming behind me I had to swive alittle into the middle close to the yellow line.

I go that way almost once a week riding my bike and since so seeing one which there everywhere just happend I seen on on my route (did I mentioned the type of deer had antlers) ..

Other than that it was a pretty good and smooth ride to my destination and back.

Day 10 of riding (Aug 17th, 2026

It was a very nice summer evening riding.

I finally got my GCC Jersey early today. I am excited to wear it.

it fits pretty well on me, my first time having a Jersey or ever owned one.

When I went out for cycling with my bike I have clearly noticed that everyone that knows "great cycling challenge "(a bunch of people nodding there heads/ peace or waved at me with a smile) and what the founders sickkids.ca of GCC and we that is riding our peddle bikes showing our actions, we have made it becouse of those who have sponsoring me you have helped the kids also the doctors with the technology kicking the cancer out of our humen life especially for the generation of the childern who have Cancer.

Day 9 cycling (Aug 15, 2026) a short distance for today.

Very nice summer day.

Been a great cycling not like my other routines, went on the road than i paused on the trails less than 2 min for a drink of water. I made this one a short ride seems a long ride about 58 min paused for 2 minutes for a drink of water.

Not a very long distance though I don't normally ride on Saturday I missed Friday, so I did cycling on this day of Saturday.

When I came back while I was on the trail, I sow one guy wearing a GCC I gave him a peace sign as he node his head..

It is pretty cool seeing people that are doing a great cause; and inclouding for my self doing something in action that feels right, also for those have sponsored me as you give support with these kids that have Cancer a fighting chance..

Day 8 (August 12, 2026) kicking cancer butt Day

My ride went well.

It was a beautiful sunny day with a bit of hue of smoke in the air.

Warm and cool wind at some parts of my travel.

I have seen a couple of people wearing a GCC jersey that's cool.

Well, I am still wearing my orange 2026 shirt and a sign on the back of my backpack of me doing cycling for helping kids Cancer.

Not even 11 KM away I always follow the rules of the road and when I was crossing where my light says green bike I went and all of a sudden I had a guy in his vehicle almost turning with a sign for him to not turn right on a red.

I said "wow cannot turn on red light." As I pointed up in two easy to see places you can clearly see the sign.

I am safe he did not hit me, just kinda in a shock I have never been hit by a veicle before...

for those that are riding bikes, we are always on a lookout.

Other than that it was pretty exciting to see the GCC rider and other riders on the trail.

There will be a Tour De Victoria this Saturday.

I am not going into that. It will be a busy week.

A slight wind.

I have noticed that when people catch what my shirt says, they're do a smile and nudged their head.

I am very grateful for doing something and showing the part of biking. I am also greatful for those who have sponsored me great positive vibes...

5th day of riding (Aug 7, 2026)

Beautiful Sunny day. Some spots were hot and some spots were nice and cool.

I have told few more people what I am doing.

I have now seen a guy wearing a GCC Jersey that was cool.

Had a bice biking did a couple pit stop for personal shopping on way back to the start, other than that I had a great time.

First time first year.

Those are doing donations. You are my sponsors and I would be getting a GCC Jersey, too.

And your helping the kidsick foundation that make the childern and doctors to make it comfortable that what I believe this helps canadain childern and family's also doctors with there technology and better treatments more an ease and better process..

Nice beautiful warm sunny day.

Lots of bikers haven't seen anyone yet wearing the original shirt or GCC jersey yet.

I noticed whenever someone seen what I am doing they say great work or nice job and thank yous.

I was going slow this time enjoyed .ore of the scenery I realized I went pass a couple of times. I have noticed there is an apple true i picked or shook the tree so I could try it when I get back home ..

I'll try it again when I go out for riding my bike and make sure I bring a panic bag so the juice from the apple does gonall over inside of my backpack pack.

It was a great ride.bi am excited I am doing something to help well I ask around who knows me or don't know me to sponsor me well they do they are supporting directly towards the sickkids foundation to fight cancer...
