500 km COMPLETED!

I completed 500km tonight! Almost $7800 raised so far for Kids’ Cancer! Thank you everyone for your support and encouragement!

Great ride Monday night with Brian, Sandy, Joanne and Linda! We celebrated my 400km milestone with lots of brutal uphills and amazing downhills!

As you know, my initial goal was to bike 500km and raise $500 for Kids’ Cancer. This morning I surpassed $7000!!! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Yesterday’s donations were matched so my donations increased an extra almost $370!

It was a little cooler biking this morning. A welcome change. So peaceful out on the K&P Trail.

Oh what a beautiful morning - Oh what a beautiful day! I set out this morning intending to bike at least 30km. I did 50km! It felt great! Only 250km left to go to meet my goal of 500km!

Thank you dear donors and supporters. Thanks to all of you, I have raised $6000 for Kids’ Cancer! My initial goal was $500. Tell all your friends that there is still time to donate. I had a hot and muggy 30km ride this morning! Thankfully there wasn’t any rain! I am looking forward to another week of cycling. I am riding solo three times this week and then doing a 50km ride with a friend on Friday!

What a beautiful morning for a ride! There were a few deer flies that pushed me to keep moving. Man, can they fly fast! Thank you again to all of you for your unwavering support! I got up bright and early this morning to beat the heat and the bugs to go for my bike ride. My other motivator was that I wanted to hit 100km today. Guess what?! I did it! 400km today go to reach my 500km goal. Thank you all for your ongoing support in the fight against Kids’ Cancer!

Hello there to all of you! I went in a beautiful bike ride tonight with a group of Sharbot Lake community friends. The sun was shining after all our recent rain. No bugs, lots of hills and great company!
