Fundraising Goal and Km Goal met!

With six days to spare, I surpassed my 300 km goal for the month of August. I originally started out with a 200 km goal but thanks to the generosity of all those who donated to my effort this month. I increased it to 300 km. It was a lot of work to make that goal, but it was worth every Peddle stroke to help make the difference in the life of a child fighting cancer.

I look forward to doing this next year and hopefully increasing both my fundraising and mileage goals for next year. I greatly appreciate all those who have donated and they’re still six days for those who have still yet to donate and may want to.

Kick Cancer’s Butt day Ride!

I had time on my ride this evening to reflect on my own experience with cancer and how scary the situation is, more so for kids.

I am truly amazed by the support of my friends and family for this great cause.

Thank you all some much. I’m over 1/3rd of the way to my 300km goal and I am gonna blast off some miles tomorrow to show my appreciation for your generosity

What a start!

5 Days in!

So far the support has been amazing. Over $750 dollars in the first 3 days. But we have lots more to go.

Had a beautiful 10km ride through pippy park yesterday day with my partners in crime, Dexter and Daisy.

No better way to combine a love of cycling with fundraising for an amazing cause!

Introduction

Hey everyone,

As I start this challenge this year it is more personal then years before.

A couple years ago i got diagnosed with cancer and was very fortunate to have it removed with no further reoccurrence.

I can’t imaging kids going through cancer and how scary it must be.

Let’s do our part to end that for them!

My challenge this year will be mostly accompanied by these 2 rockstars. Dexter and Daisy!
