I'm Riding For
Bronson Baxter
I am riding this year in memory of a 13 year old who lost the battle to an aggressive brain cancer and will be praying as I ride a stationary bike. I will also be riding in memory of My mother who fought cancer twice. And passed away to lung cancer. She was a beautiful woman. I am also riding to raise awareness of our great healer Jesus Christ
My Story
This August, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer! I am riding in memory of Bronson Baxter who passed away June 11, 2026bafter over a year long battle with brain cancer.
And Because right now, over 1,700 children are diagnosed with cancer every year, and it's the biggest killer of children from disease in Canada.
Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.
So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support SickKids Foundation to allow them to continue their work in developing treatments and finding a cure for childhood cancer.

Today's ride
18 Aug 2026Today I took a friend with me to the gym. I had 6kms left to ride. I pushed myself hard, riding 90RPM at my max, and rode 6kms in 22:52min WOW!
Even being in pain, I knew I could meet my goal. I know for the next 3 days walking will be hard but it's all worth it. I need to keep going the gym. I am fighting to get my health back.
May the Lord bless Bronson's family the Baxter's and give them peace. No parent should have to bury their child and no sibling should have to buy a brother so young at only just 13 yrs of age. That is why I pushed myself so hard. Kids deserve to be kids and live a full life.
Pain or no pain, I would do it again. I know I will sleep well tonight as got to the gym at 8pm, we left at 9pm.

I pushed myself to the max
11 Aug 2026My legs have been in a lot of pain lately, even hurts to walk, but today I pushed myself to the max, I spin cycled rode 5.04kms in just under 20 mins!! I will be back to the gym to do it again.
This may be my last yr riding at almost 45 come Fri lol, but I did it and I am proud of myself too!

God's got this!!!
9 Aug 2026I'm back to the gym! HURRAY, after not being able to go at all last month. Going to be spin cycling wooohooo. Pain or not. This may be my last year, I am not sure. My birthday is on Fri! Ii will be 45.
God's got this and God's got me. Feels great to be cycling for a great cause. I will not Give up, I REFUSE TO GIVE UP.

Bronson has gone to Heaven
13 Jul 2026This year I am riding in memory of a 13 year old boy named Bronson Baxter. He passed away June 11, 2026 after over a years long fight with a very aggressive brain tumour. Please pray for his 3 brothers and his parents, family and friends as they grieve at this time. Bronson was a very bright young man. He loved Jesus and stayed faithful right until the end.
