Although my grandpa didn’t have childhood cancer, he was a childhood educator and passed from multiple myeloma.
My Story
My name is Sydney and this August, I’m taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer.
Over 1,700 children are diagnosed with cancer every year. Thanks to Sick Kids and other research hospitals, over 85% of children diagnosed with cancer survive 5 years or longer.
I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support SickKids Foundation to allow them to continue their work in developing treatments and finding a cure for childhood cancer.
