Once again I'm a proud participant in the Great Cycle Challenge Canada. This is my ninth year, my mission continues. Sadly the battle against childhood cancers is not over. I ride to support the kids, the little warriors. I ride to support SickKids Foundation and ensure they can continue their work in providing care, developing treatments and finding a cure for ALL childhood cancers. We also need to ensure these kids know they aren't alone in their battle. The Great Cycle Challenge riders are an 'army' across Canada fighting for them.

I AM COMMITTED to the kids and to riding the distance promised and earning your dollars donated.

I ride for ALL the kids. I ride in remembrance for those who fought valiantly but lost their battle. There are too many! My sister, Bonnie, lost her battle with Astrocytoma at the young age of 10 in 1960. The possibility of a timely diagnosis, or the hope of a cure, was not in the picture during that time.

I try to help raise awareness of the battles these courageous kids are fighting today and give them, and their families and friends, hope of the possibility of a cure in their future. I ride for those children yet to be diagnosed!
