My Story

Through August, I am pushing my limits in the Great Cycle Challenge Canada, riding over 200 km to raise $2,500 for a cause close to my heart. Alongside my team, "Still Counting," I am cycling to bring hope to the 1,000 Canadian children diagnosed with cancer every year. While cancer remains the leading cause of death by disease to our children, pediatric research receives less than 7% of our overall cancer funding. By sponsoring my ride, your kind donation will go directly to Toronto's SickKids Foundation to fund gentler treatments for childern and finding a cure. I am entering GCC for my seventh year, with the goal of cycling over 200 Kms and raising $2500. Truthfully, I am not an every day cyclist. I generally find myself gearing up for this challenge in the month of August, which is a bit crazy. But this cause has become dear to me. My life's career has centered around offering support to family and their sons or daughters. Today, focusing on our young children who are personally fighting to beat cancer is something I feel I can do. I hope you will join me by supporting my endeavour.
