My Story
This August, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!
Why? Because right now, over 1,400 children are diagnosed with cancer every year, and it's the biggest killer of children from disease in Canada.
Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.
But closer to my heart, a few years ago, a friend’s daughter was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer. It has not been easy, but both Nori, her loving family, and her amazing medical team at Sick Kids are working hard to beat it!
Nori has given back as an ambassador for the Great Cycle Challenge and a spokesperson for SickKids, and I am raising funds through my challenge to celebrate her and her continued recovery, and to support SickKids Foundation so it can one day find a cure for childhood cancer.
Please help us ensure that one day, no other child will have to fight this fight.
