Hi Family & Friends!!!

It's that time of year... August and the Great Cycle Challenge! This is YEAR #7 for me!!!

Why do I continue to participate in GCCCanada? Because right now, over 1,700 children are diagnosed with cancer every year, and it's the biggest killer of children from disease in Canada. Unfortunately the number of children being diagnosed continues to grow.😔 Finding a cure for cancer, any kind of cancer, is a cause that is dear to my heart.❤️ And after working with children for over 40 years, being able to help in some way to support children and their families fight this terrible disease is important to me, important to my family. My husband lost his sister at 2 years old to leukaemia, before he was born. A sister, sister-in-law, and auntie we would never meet!

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it!!!

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support SickKids Foundation to allow them to continue their work in developing treatments and finding a cure for childhood cancer.

Please support me by making a donation to give these kids the brighter futures they deserve. Over the past six years, through the generous support of family and friends, I have raised over $6500 for cancer research…I am forever grateful for your donations, your support, and your words of encouragement! 🙏🏻 ❤️
