I'm Riding For

The Kids

Too many friends have gone, too many families touched by this horrible disease that many only refer to by its first letter. Regas back when I started this ride, my sister-in-law Val and good friend Tom. I think of the names, the friends, the family, the family of friends who I know have experienced huge loss. I’ve been visited twice now by those words I never want to hear again. I was one of the very, very lucky ones and if riding a bike and raising a few dollars helps find an end to this cruelty, I’m all in.

My Story

I am blessed with children and grandchildren. They fill my world and make me want to make it a better place for them and for others. I do not want cancer to touch their lives, my heart breaks for the little heroes that bravely face this reality. Cancer has touched us all it is an indiscriminate killers Ride along with me and let’s show them how much we care.

This August, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Why? Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.
