My Story

This August, I’m not just riding a bike—I’m riding for every child who’s ever heard the word “cancer.” For the seventh year in a row, I’m taking on the Great Cycle Challenge, and this time, I’m pushing myself to ride 150 kilometers. Not for the thrill. Not for the miles. But for the mission.

Because childhood cancer is not just a diagnosis—it’s a thief. It steals laughter, dreams, and far too often, lives. In Canada alone, over 1,700 children are diagnosed with cancer each year. It remains the #1 disease-related killer of kids in our country.

But we can change that.

I ride to raise critical funds for the SickKids Foundation—an organization at the forefront of pediatric cancer research and treatment. Every dollar raised fuels breakthroughs, brings hope to families, and moves us closer to a cure.

This isn’t just my challenge. It’s our opportunity.
