My Story
When you’ve fought blood cancer yourself, taking on a 100 km ride isn’t just a fitness goal—it’s a declaration of gratitude and purpose.
In December 2024, my world shifted completely when I was diagnosed with Primary Mediastinal B-Cell Lymphoma, a rare form of Non-Hodgkin’s blood cancer. What followed was six intense rounds of chemotherapy that tested my body, mind, and spirit. By June 2025, I reached remission.
That journey taught me that life isn't defined by the trials we face, but by how we respond to them. I didn't survive that fight on my own—I was lifted up by faith, my medical team, and the overwhelming love of my wife, children, family, and community.
Now, I’m using the life I was given back to stand up for those who are still in the thick of it: our kids.
No child should ever have to go through the pain, fear, and uncertainty of a cancer diagnosis. No parent should have to watch their little one endure it. That’s why I’m riding 100 km—to raise critical funds for childhood cancer research, treatment, and support.
Every pedal stroke is fueled by the gratitude I hold for my second chance, and every kilometer is dedicated to giving these brave little fighters the healthy future they deserve.
